In every industry it has become the most necessary requirement. It is being used one way or another, for small jobs or big projects. People are dependent on computers in present time. It has become people’s opinion that if one person do not use or know computer he will not be efficient enough in his work or will not be able to give best services. Auto mechanics is not different from other industries. Because of so many new technologies and invention it has become rather vital to use it in this field too. Every car, truck, vans, and sport utility vehicles need shifting of automatic transmissions, spraying fuel into the engine for burning, regulating the air conditioner, alarm systems blow out your airbags in case of an auto accident or collision and all these tasks necessitate computers for automobiles. The more advance the vehicle is the more advanced system will be required. UBS, DVD players, satellite radio, MP3, MP4, multi-disc CD players also need systems to run, also their installation and updating also required it. They are also essential for vehicle stability, traction, and control headlamp, systems electronic parking brake system, driver warning system, electronic parking, tire pressure monitor systems, vehicle suspension warning systems, and anti-locks.

Every manufacturer will have different codes to run these systems, recognizing this system is a scientific method. If vehicles have software issue, it will also be solved through systems. A well established mechanical shop will have equipments and knowledge to repair all faults.

The computer of vehicles does need programming and reprogramming time to time. Alarms which have been put in cars to prevent its theft also need this system to run and work. Lot of cars has trackers to know the current location and these trackers also have systems attached on the back hands.

There are also hybrid cars which are automated. Every movement of every second of the car got calculated by system to maintain the saving of the gas. This car contains two batteries one to control the automatic parts such and lights and all and the second battery have high voltage to make the car get moving. The movement and the charging of these batteries is also computer generated.

In short like so many other industries automobiles are also very much dependent on computer generated systems.
