How to spray paint a vehicle

When you start to paint your car the first thing to be done is clean the car area on which you want to paint make sure that you have removed all the grease and dirt from the car so you can be done nicely. The area where you are planning to do the job should also be clean and close from dust t come in. also do check the spray guns so that the paint will not have any dust in it while painting the car otherwise the paint will not look as new and fresh as you want it to look.

The things you will need to do the job are a measuring device, strainers, stir sticks along with them you will need reducer, primer and catalyst. Make sure you have all these things close to you so you will not have to search for them during your work. You will need to know the best temperature for your work so you can choose a reducer according to that because they are available in different temperatures. The temperatures of the reducer can be high low and medium and the paints take time to dry according to the temperature but the most recommending temperature is medium.

You should mix things according to the instructions given on the primer wait for 15 to 20 minute before spraying the paint let the things mix properly. First give 1 or two coat first to check the results is as you want.  It will take 4 to 5 coats to get the actual result of the paint. The primer let the paint stick to the metal and protect it from other elements.  The best primer will be urethane primer because the lacquer can contract.

To get a smooth finish of the paint make sure that the car has been coated thoroughly. Some people do the sanding through machine but it will not give you good result, it’s better that you do it through a hand block this will take more time than if you do it through machine but results will be better. The first coat that you will do will tell you how much spots are there on your paint you will definitely find some whether you are experience or doing it first time. The sand should be done with a 320 grit paper on medium hard block. The grit will help to smooth the guide coat and you will able to find out the spots in your paint. Do not use too much hard block it can make scratches on your car. After you complete the painting job wash your car in regular way with water and soap.
